Japanese Game Shows

Japanese game shows have been a big hit on YouTube for a while. Apparently Americans love watching goofy Japanese game shows (and rightly so in my opinion) to see all the crazy things that they make each other do for the glory of winning.

Lately, there has been a lot of remakes of these game shows. Wipeout is one that some of you may or may not recognize (I believe its on on Tuesdays). It's done in homage to MXC (you can see a little hint of Ninja Warrior in there too. And yes, I know that MXC is kind of Americanized because of the dubbing, but not completely done in America with Americans). In fact, just the other day I noticed that they are making the Human Tetris one as well now.

Well, as neat as I do think it is that they are bringing these shows to US TV (secretly I want to go participate in these shows. You gotta admit, it would be fun), there is something about watching the Japanese do it themselves that makes it so great.

I came across this clip on youtube the other day of what I thought is a quality game show (I would be a little surprised if they brought this one to US TV though... :) )
Enjoy:

And just for kicks and gigles, heres Human Tetris (the Japanese version) and a few other classics that I think are hillarious as well:

Watch this next one to the end. I promise, its absolutely amazing:

Those hand walk and bike guys are amazing. Very funny marshmallow men. Good way to start what is turning out to be a LONG day.

I love those shows, I am a weekly wipeout viewer and find them better in the US, things are just better in America.
